Stop and Shop for SXSW

Slow news day today. It is cold and rainy here and everyone at my house is sick, on the verge of getting sick, or just coming out of being sick. No fun :(

But I will say that this next week my home town of Austin will be hosting SXSW and my favorite store, Parts and Labour is a must stop at if you are in town. The shop is full of Austin's finest handmade and locally made designs. Everything from jewelry, to men's shirts, to housewares, to women's clothing and gifts. They even recently opened up a companion store inside the original that sells screen-printed posters and paper goods. I just set up my display with tons of Kailo Chic goodies to ogle at and purchase.

Parts and Labour is located across from the school for the deaf on South Congress. While you are in the neighborhood, you might as well take a stroll down South Congress Ave and checkout all the awesome stores and restaurants. My new favorite restaurant is HopDoddy. They have amazing burgers and fries!
